2. Our commitment, and the law behind it

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Privacy Act does not require every small business to follow the APPs. We follow them regardless, because the people we work with share things that matter.

Koaching the Gap, Australian Business Number (ABN) 23 573 019 125, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

How we keep these promises. What follows are our working rules, and we set our tools up to match them. We are a small practice, and if we get one of them wrong we tell the person affected, fix it, and change whatever let it happen. 3. What we collect and why

We collect personal information to deliver our services, stay in contact, invoice and get paid, meet our legal obligations and improve what we do.

• Name, email, phone, organisation and role. To identify you, arrange sessions and stay in contact.
• Scheduling details. To run sessions and meetings.
• Invoicing details. To invoice your organisation or you, and to keep the records tax law requires.
• Intake information. What you tell us at the start about what you want from the work, and anything that would make it unsafe or unsuitable.
• Notes about our work together. Brief working notes so there is continuity across an engagement.
• What you choose to share in sessions. To do the work you engaged us for.
• Enquiry and registration details. What you give us through a contact form, an expression of interest or an email.
