Status: voluntary. Reporting to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency is required of employers with 100 or more employees. Koaching the Gap has no employees. Anti-discrimination law, including the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic) and the Commonwealth anti-discrimination Acts, applies to how we work whether or not we publish a statement.
What we commit to
- Equal treatment and respect for everyone we work with, regardless of gender, sexuality, age, disability, race, religion, family responsibilities or any other attribute protected by law.
- Work designed around people, not the other way round: flexible scheduling, online delivery, and reasonable adjustments on request.
- An inclusive practice that takes intersectionality seriously. Much of our work sits with people whose working lives are shaped by more than one form of structural disadvantage.
- When we recruit, selection on merit against a written role description, with pay set by the role rather than by negotiation.
- A safe way to raise a concern, set out on How to raise a concern or complaint.
Who we are
Koaching the Gap is 100% Indigenous owned and founder-led. As the practice grows we expect our practitioner network to reflect the communities we work with.
