1. How this policy fits

This policy is read together with our Terms and Conditions. Together with the other policies listed there, it is the agreement between you and Koaching the Gap. If your signed contract, statement of work or purchase order says something different, that document comes first. Words with a particular meaning are explained in Definitions and glossary.

2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits the rights you cannot sign away under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, including that they be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the purpose you told us about, and be delivered within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the failure, that may be:

  1. the work done again
  2. a refund
  3. cancelling the engagement

We will not mislead you about these rights, and nothing in this policy is meant to.

3. Cancelling or moving a session

Give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an individual session without charge.

With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the session fee is payable. If the session was prepaid, it is used. If it is yet to be invoiced, it is invoiced.

4. Cancelling or moving a workshop, facilitation day or speaking date

Give us at least 10 business days' notice to cancel or move a booked date without charge.

With less notice, the fee for the date is payable, less any costs we are able to avoid (for example travel we can cancel). We will show you what we have deducted.
